Dorotian Funeral Services was started in Potchefstroom in 1993 and is an authorized financial services provider and has a 100% black woman ownership. It is family business and level one contributor with 135% B-BBEE procurement recognition.

The name Dorotian is derived from the first letter of the four original founders of the business namely Dolf, Rodney, Tiro and Anver and so Do-Ro-Ti-An.

Dorotian Funeral Services provides an end-to-end funeral service from insurance plans to cremations and exhumation and a full catering service this across all religious, cultural and ethnic backgrounds. Dorotian Funeral Services’ management philosophy is to serve our clients and the company selflessly, putting the people’s needs above our own.

Dorotian Funeral Services prides itself in serving the nation with reputable dignified funeral services. To date, Dorotian Funeral Services is owned and run by the Bezuidenhout family. Operating branches in Potchefstroom, Klerksdorp, Stilfontein, Ventersdorp, Fochville, Carletonville and Knysna.
